The Journey Of Actualizing Planet X

Flat out...today is the day. I’ve got to act. Tired of deciding to decide.

Flat out...today is the day. I’ve got to act. Tired of deciding to decide.

Who cares if the Beatles or Rolling Stones reign number one on the musicians list. No body asked me if they were the voice of a generation.. No one. No one even asked. What do they have to do with anything, any ways, thought Menson. The media is always selling us some crap, a point of view for all of us to believe in and relate to. I just don’t relate and believe it. What is it that I want? I got to do something, or I’ll burst. I got to get on with my life. No one is looking, no one really cares. Everyone has the mirror held up to their own image. I’ve got to have a taste of real freedom. Geezs, what’s that...? Things always came easy for him. It was just that way for him. He never doubted himself. If his life thus far was a pleasure ride of everything needed and wanted holding open arms out for him to be embraced, that was just the way it was and of course should be. Why doubt, there was no need for worry, either.

Despite Guys’ self assurance and good luck, there was an experience that still alluded him. He’d give up the good life for just one taste of actualizing experience. He had been reading about it for over a year. It cost a fortune. The many years spent in hibernation, while on route to Planet X frightened him. X was not the official name of the planet. Only a few, higher up governing scientists, knew the actual location and name of the planet. What he had learned initially about planet X, he had found accidentally in a closed file that he mistakenly had entered. He had shared it with his sister Menson. At fist, the file was hard to decipher but Menson having studied astronomy for many years, had heard of the planet X, the planet of actualizing as the governing scientists referred to it. Both sister and brother had discreetly asked around to find out further information. They were surprised to learn that people were being selected to go there. He had been studying the file from front to back, every detail since it came into his hands.

The pictures of the planets’ surface were beautiful. It was unlike anything he had seen on his planet. He didn’t know how to describe it except to use the word luminous. The pictures filled him with an incredible longing to actually go there, to experience the luminosity for himself. Besides the scenic pictures of planet X, contained in the file was what Guy thought as coded messages relaying a secret about the planet. Planet X was called A.P.E. which he figured out to mean Actualizing Planet Experience. There were journal descriptions probably entered by the first person or people that had been sent there to explore the planet. The nature of the descriptions were unusual, somewhat ecstatic in nature. They were pure poetry. He had read over and over the lines: I am myself here. More than I ever have .This planet is awakening me to my very self by recognizing me. It embraces me. It actualizes me. It is the inside of the mirror where all my imaging disappears into a knowingness, a home of myself, where I am completely myself.”

These words intrigued him but it was the physical beauty of the place that caused a longing in him to go there. He daydreamed about Planet X constantly. He knew he would find a way to get there. Unknown to him, his sister Menson also felt a calling that she could not deny. This calling frustrated any other impulses that she had . She too, had a dream of going to Planet X. Both sister and brother lay in their beds late at night in their separate bedrooms carrying in their hearts the call of Planet X. Who would get there? Who would realize their dream? “We can only play the part of victims because we actually view ourselves as heroines.” Menson thought about herself. Okay, maybe I prolonged my suffering by emotionally dramatizing my pain more than necessary but it took me a while to catch on that life is a certain way and perhaps not all that equal for women. It took some time, I was in my late thirties before I caught the hint that I could fly and I mean really fly, not just floating above the ground but soaring at altitudes of about 10,000ft.

I found out that I possessed this skill when I let my anger surface. I was revoltingly pissed off. I stormed out of the apartment when I heard that Guy was chosen (my dear baby brother) and not I to go to planet X. I had followed all the rules and kissed a lot of asses for years in hopes of being selected to go. No, cocky Guy breezes through the classes and gets hired. I flew that day. My anger lifted me up. Normally, I would of shoved my disappointment and anger into a couple of glasses of wine and slept fro fifteen hours straight. But that day my anger seethed up from my guts and flew me up into the skies. I willed myself higher and higher. In a matter of seconds I was swimming through the atmosphere, through clouds, above Mt Malay. I knew that what I was doing was scientifically impossible but it was really happening. My sanity was not in doubt. I was moving, airborne, cruising and flying like a bird; a bird with no wings.

I was flying by sheer need. It was really happening. It was then that I knew that it was entirely true, I have always known that I was a heroine. It was on that day that I began a different kind of life. I was in charge of myself and my own life now. I would accept and live only what I felt was true and accepting myself as heroine, not victim, I knew that courage was always there when I needed it. I flew everyday, privately, above the deserts. I told no one of my ability. I saw the world from a rarified point of view. The skies were alive with currents of their own. I became observant of the movements of air and named the different kinds of winds that blew about me. The warm winds whispered songs of invitation and I called them sweet secrets. The cold winds, I called them, shivering currents. The skies of air learned me. I was delighted in this place of invisible life. My body was at ease here. My body held no weight for me.

My mind could not be contained and my thoughts floated by like clouds that cannot hold any rain. I wondered if I was metamorphosing into a bird. A human bird? Was I a new species rising up, out of some need, for some purpose that I cannot yet understand? I became obsessed with flying higher and higher. Within a few months, I had adapted to heights that contained only the tiniest amounts of oxygen. Soon, I crossed the barrier, past the earths’ atmosphere. I felt that I was not just human, not just part bird, but what was I? What was I becoming? My body knew traveling. It was teaching me at an incredible rate, adapting in ways I couldn’t even guess at. I was being made ready and I was not afraid any longer. I was ready. I was the heroine. My brother Guy was leaving for A.P.E. or Planet X in a week. I predicted and just knew that I would be ready fro the final adaptation: LIGHT TRAVEL. I would arrive on Planet X before my brother.

To his utter amazement I will be standing at docking bay as the welcoming committee. Won’t he be surprised. Menson dreamt of flying. A woman-like, wind-like presence accompanied her and acted as a intentional, directional navigator. She was being taught by this womanness in a way that was easy to learn but hard to understand. She felt the presence of the spirit; the understanding and deliberate intention of the female presence become her. The feeling of being taught and feeling the beingness of the female wind presence made her feel more like herself, like she had come or merged into herself more; that she knew, she knew more or perhaps even everything by this mergence. She was being directed through the eyes. She saw everything with her own eyes, all the passing signs and bumps in the road but understood where she was going by the presences’ act of intentional knowing. They or she, as she more is, flew faster and she heard the presence say, “ Do not be frightened by what appears before you , hold firm to the intention of flying and you will move through it and re-appear flying in another scene.”

In front of her a piece of the road and sky formed into a frame; a picture contained in ethereal glass. It lifted up looking very much like a window that was being opened. Without any hesitation she flew right through it. Again, the knowing presence assured her to keep flying, not to falter. She found herself in another scene, another landscape and even perhaps in another time. Again, another clear framed window appeared and pulled open on its own accord. She easily flew into another realm. She felt no fear as she was fully concentrated on the task of holding to the art of flying. The frames appeared in quicker and quicker succession and she barely had any notice as to where she was landing. She kept returning to the movement of the motion. It taxed her will but the intention of the presence that she was one with had unlimited ability to travel and to travel so quickly. She had a sense that she was flying through many places of times but she knew not if they had any relationship to her.

Flying and moving even more quickly was what mattered. She felt thrilled by the experience and the thought occurred to her, “I already know, I already know.. I have traveled in this way before.” The female presence assured her that what she felt was true. “Trust yourself to go even faster.” She moved instantaneously through the ever-increasing frames. This form of travel soared but did not move through altitudes, rather thru pictionary planes. Volumes of imaging knowledge passed through her or did she pass through it? Was she the wind, the wake of will? Moving this fast, will is the intention of light. I am light body. I can travel by shining myself. She understood and these crazy intuitions dawned on her like the sun warming its nutrients to its’ circles and rays of adoring necessary spirit molds. Menson awoke, laughing, dizzy with the effects of constant motion while lying still.
