The Four Directions
I have dreamed everything. I have dreamed it all. I am not saying and I am trying to make this very clear—I did not have dreams of these people (these women)—

I have dreamed everything. I have dreamed it all. I am not saying and I am trying to make this very clear—I did not have dreams of these people (these women)—no, I dreamt them into their lives for a very special purpose. Even today and for future possibilities, I am still dreaming these women of the 4 directions. Their lives have been always intertwined with each other, I have always dreamed them in this way even if they did not recognize each other or know who was dreaming them. For how many know that they are being dreamed into the existence of here? How many can name the name of their one True Heart?
I’ve always had this great purpose and I know this will never change. No one knows my name but I have given the Four directions, the women of location—the women who are on this journey for a very special purpose—their names, time and time again. If you must know me by a name you can call me “The Master Dreamer.” Our story as a journey for a great purpose is introduced with a journey to the East, to India.
Many links had to be made and when the sister of the East, already ripe with old age, came to hug a stranger at the place she lived with her Master for many years, she shined with her love for her master. Her love was given freely to everyone who came to feel the truth and happiness of her life given to Love. Her life lived in great love’s purpose would soon be coming to an end. I was there to collect her and release her from her mortal frame. She did not know who I was or why I was there, but as she looked at me I could see she was struggling with recognizing me. “You look so familiar to me, have we already met?” she asked. I smiled as the portrait of her master, her brother, looked on. I remember her final wave as I looked back through the window of the Indian taxi. Soon her body would be released and she would be acknowledged by her great master for the service rendered in that life for the sake of awakening. Funny how it works, how my service of being the Master Dreamer creates the links for awaking to Be. For when the dreamer knows it’s a dream, the dreamer will eventually ache to awaken.
The dream to awaken is a very special series of links, events, and truly special creative dreaming events. When the moment appears or dawns, it is as simple as the sunlight on your face stirring you to open your eyes. You have arrived as yourSelf, without a false self to dream you back into the pursuit of finding happiness. The four directions, the four women, have the ache to feel the sunlight on their faces, and in this life or the next one, the sunlight, the brightness is about to appear as the dawn. Their time is close and this is the story of how their ache met the light of the dawn of conscious awakening. But first, their dreams are traveling in a circular spiral, and their approach to my Heart recognition has created their story, their connection, their links with each other, and finally the purpose of their story. The 4 directions, the four sisters, my 4 daughters, I have always known them, dream-guided them. They are all naïve, innocent, and yes, powerful and steady, each with a set direction, each approaching here in their different way, each with an ache in their heart that needs to be met.
The old woman from the East will become the daughter of the sister from the West. Her proud voice sang out to the audiences of Europe. She performed for the aristocrats and gave of her time and powerful voice to sing her stories to the poor as well. Camelia was from a moderate family, but as soon as she could talk she began to sing. She sang to the birds, copying their trills and tweets. She sang to her baby brother to lull him back to sleep. She always sang and always knew she would grow up to sing to everyone in the great halls where people would gather eagerly to hear her. I attended one of her performances and was thoroughly delighted by her joy of singing. She did not see me there, but there was a swami there who kept time with her and clapped enthusiastically at the end of her performance. After the performance she heard that a young swami from the East had attended her performance and enjoyed it. Was it a coincidence that a few days later she saw a flyer of a lecture the he would give that night, or was it a link to a deeper purpose?
She attended the lecture and found the swami’s wisdom intriguing, and she thought that his notions of enlightenment were something she wanted to explore more. She met with him privately and he assured her he would help her to understand the Heart’s impulse. The heart’s impulse, she thought, what a strange impulse, what does the heart want? she wondered. As she got to spend more time in the swami’s presence, she noticed that he spoke his teaching in a strong, lucid way of representing truth as logically as possible to the people—mostly men—who surrounded him. He did not speak of the heart’s impulse to this general audience that later became ardent students, only to her did speak of the heart and its ache to be opened and to live its expressions of passion. She felt this ache when she sang and she felt it when she was with the swami. She brought this ache to him in the form of her personal love for him. She wanted to be with him and found ways to serve him and of course sing for him. He taught her chants and mantras and sometimes the devotees would gather, sit in meditation, and when the meditation was finished he would turn to her and cue her to begin the kirtan.
At the fever pitch of her love for him, he became ill and took a conscious death. He returned to me, the Master Dreamer, having played his part very well.
