I do not look for God in the rituals and symbolism of religion

I do not look for God in the rituals and symbolism of religion
I am not angry that this is not a perfect world
I do not blame God for suffering – either seemingly necessary
or unnecessary
I cannot find union with God through yoga
Art and music hold no deeper mystery to explain my life
I am just an ordinary woman accepting life as it is
I live without a purpose or a meaning
I have no mission to change the world
My secret is obvious and therefore overlooked
I have no point
I have no prestige
I will not be recognized for anything
I am happy just being
Every moment is new and I don’t have anything figured out
Seeing that life has patterns and cycles has given me no
wisdom to use to succeed
I am just here, just as surprised as you as to where events will
go
It is all just happening
I am okay that there is no control
I accept that my life can disappear in any moment
I am okay about that
I am like a child that just wants to go out and play
I am an adult that accepts the responsibilities to support my
life and those that are here with me
I love purity and wisdom
I enjoy beauty and feel love everywhere
All religions worship God that is somewhere else or a God that
is in their heart
I cannot find a separation from God so God gets to be this
ordinary woman
I know all religions, they come out of God and God is all there is
to Be . . .
