Faced with the lure of lust and power
Faced with the lure of lust and power
To be the one in charge and desired . . .
Sorry, I’d rather not.
Just give me your love,
that is not an illusion
Be humble, accept your humanness
Yes, it has flaws –
It has its’ moments when it can give love
or strategize for recognition and control for more of this and
that.
I’d rather give love
And be like a child that needs no attainment, a child that loves
to play
A child that when is faced with suffering chooses to give a
smile
And give her heart in play to everyone and everything.
Faced with you I would love to see your smile of delight when I
come into the room.
Faced with each other
I see the face of God.
